Why do we need stories at all? With all the excitement available in contemporary life, why do people watch plays, films, and television shows that create an imaginary world? Isn't the real world stimulating enough, without imagining other ones?

People watch television, show, and plays for entertaiment. The real world is great, but sometimes people need to get away and watch the lives of other people on the big screen living the lives they wish the could have. I watch T.V. mostly to be imfrom of whats happening in hollywood and others watch the news so they could be aware of what's happening in the "real world"

ReplyDeleteEveryone needs a break from reality. whether it is to escape the stresses of life or purely just get your mind off something that is always happenening. Drama TV and Films gives insights on others behaviors. It is a communicator of other's beliefs, it serves a a public announcer it informs us of things we may not know about. Why read about it when you can see it in action?
ReplyDeletePlays are my faorite events to go to. Even though I've omly been to 2 plays, it has capture my heart. It is amazing how these people create such a beautiful expression. I love plays, film, and televsion.
ReplyDeleteTheatre, film and television each have their own unique aspects which attract multitudes of people for a variety of reasons. Some people use it as a means of escape from reality to be able to escape into a fantasy world or completely different life. They can also be used to share someone’s life story or history of events. Knowledge can be shared through these different mediums to help educate or inform the receiver. Whatever the reason be, each of these attracts people throughout all of society in one form or another.
